Let Morning Pages Supercharge Your Daily Routine

Burgeoning writers are often advised to write first thing every day—to do their “morning pages.” As it turns out, early in the morning is when many of us (including non-writers) are at their most creative. Harnessing that creativity through morning pages can set you up for a full day of peaceful success, no matter your field.


Morning routines fascinate me. The way that some use them, as sculptors or artists might, to inject color and calm throughout their entire day; the way that some people, who seem to have their lives together, know themselves well enough to take full advantage of those quiet morning hours—I’m intrigued, and, boy, do I want in.
